Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using ByteWaveNetwork tools. They cover acceptable use, disclaimers, and your rights.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any tool, page, or API endpoint on ByteWaveNetwork ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and API consumers.

2. What We Offer

ByteWaveNetwork provides free web analysis tools for developers and SEO professionals, including:

  • Link Checker — BFS crawler for broken links and redirects
  • SEO Site Audit — per-page SEO scoring across 22 checks
  • Redirect Tracer — full redirect chain analysis
  • Page Speed Inspector — TTFB, DNS/TCP/TLS timing, and HTML checks
  • Sitemap Validator — sitemap XML parsing and per-URL health checks
  • Schema Markup Tester — JSON-LD, Microdata, and RDFa validation
  • Page SEO Score — on-page content and technical SEO audit
  • AI Evals — context retrieval, instruction following, agentic loop, thinking mode, and prompt sensitivity evaluations

All tools are provided free of charge and do not require account registration. We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or accuracy. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis with no SLA.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must:

  • Only scan websites and URLs that you own or have explicit permission to analyze.
  • Comply with the target site's robots.txt file and its own terms of service when using our crawling tools.
  • Respect rate limits and not send traffic to third-party servers at volumes that could cause disruption.

You must not:

  • Use the Service to scan sites you do not own or have authorization to scan.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits through proxies, rotating IPs, or automated scripts targeting our API.
  • Use the Service for attack reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, or any malicious purpose.
  • Use the Service to generate automated traffic designed to overload or degrade third-party servers.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary logic from the Service.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law or regulations.

We reserve the right to block IP addresses or terminate access for violations of these terms without notice.

4. Rate Limits

The API and web interface enforce a limit of 10 POST requests per minute per IP address. Requests that exceed this limit will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response with a Retry-After header indicating when you may retry.

Persistent abuse of rate limits, including attempts to circumvent them, may result in a permanent IP block. If you have a legitimate use case that requires higher throughput, contact us at support@bytewavenetwork.com.

5. API Usage

The REST API (/api/v1/) is free and open for use in your own applications and scripts, subject to these terms and the rate limits described above. We reserve the right to:

  • Add authentication requirements to any endpoint at any time.
  • Modify, deprecate, or remove endpoints with or without notice.
  • Impose stricter rate limits for automated or programmatic usage.

No SLA, uptime guarantee, or backward-compatibility promise is made for the API. Do not build production-critical systems that depend on uninterrupted access to this API without contacting us first.

6. Disclaimers

The Service and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.

Tool output — including link status reports, SEO scores, speed measurements, schema validation results, redirect chain data, and AI evaluation results — is informational only. It does not constitute legal advice, SEO consulting, professional engineering advice, or any other form of expert opinion.

We do not guarantee that our crawlers will correctly analyze every website, that results will be free of errors, or that the Service will be available at any given time. Crawl results may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by target server behavior outside our control.

7. Affiliate Links

Some links on ByteWaveNetwork may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. We only link to tools, services, and resources we personally use and genuinely recommend. Affiliate relationships do not influence our tool functionality, rankings, or editorial content.

Affiliate commissions help keep these tools free. We appreciate your support.

8. Intellectual Property

The ByteWaveNetwork name, logo, site design, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of the site owner (Sunny Singh). All rights are reserved.

Tool output — scan results, exported reports, and data generated by the tools based on your inputs — belongs to you. You may use, share, and publish tool output freely.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell the Service itself, or present ByteWaveNetwork's design or branding as your own, without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability — No Responsibility for Use or Outcomes

Use of this Service is entirely at your own risk and your own choice. By accessing or using ByteWaveNetwork, you expressly acknowledge and agree that ByteWaveNetwork, its owner, operators, and contributors bear no responsibility whatsoever for any outcome, consequence, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Service — direct, indirect, or otherwise.

End user responsibility for testing. You are solely and exclusively responsible for independently verifying, validating, and testing all tool output before acting on it, deploying changes, or making decisions based on results produced by this Service. ByteWaveNetwork provides no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific purpose. No result produced by any tool on this Service should be treated as final or authoritative without your own independent verification.

End user choice. Your decision to use this Service — and how you use it — is entirely voluntary and entirely your own. ByteWaveNetwork makes no representation that the Service is appropriate, suitable, or sufficient for your specific use case. You assume full responsibility for determining whether the Service meets your needs, and for any consequences of using or relying on it.

No liability for damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ByteWaveNetwork and its owner, operators, and contributors shall not be liable — under any legal theory including negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise — for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages;
  • Lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption;
  • The cost of substitute services or remedial work;
  • Decisions made, actions taken, or changes deployed based on tool output;
  • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in tool results;
  • Unavailability of the Service at any given time;
  • Any harm to your website, server, or third-party systems resulting from use of our crawlers or tools.

This limitation applies even if ByteWaveNetwork has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if any remedy set forth herein is found to have failed its essential purpose. Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed USD $0 — you receive this Service free of charge, and the absence of consideration reflects the absence of any warranty or guarantee.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes — those that significantly affect your rights or obligations — we will add a prominent note in this section describing what changed and when.
